- כְּבַרII, Pa. כַּבֵּיר (denom. of כַּבָּרִיתָא) to fumigate with sulphur, to bleach. Ber.27b לכַבָּרוּיַי סלי to fumigate baskets. B. Kam.93b דכַבְּרֵיח כברויי when he (in addition) bleached the wool with sulphur.
